The View Hospital and Al Koot Insurance and Reinsurance have reaffirmed their insurance partnership, extending direct billing to all medical services and clinics at the Doha hospital. The agreement was signed by Al Koot CEO Ahmed Rafee Al-Emadi and Apex Health Group CEO Joe Hazel, Qatar Tribune reported on October 18, 2026.
What the Al Koot Agreement Covers
The renewed partnership gives Al Koot's members direct billing access to all medical services and clinics at The View Hospital, which operates in affiliation with Cedars-Sinai. Al Koot first signed with the hospital in 2023, when it was among the first insurance companies to do so.
Al-Emadi said the alliance would contribute to the transformation of Qatar's healthcare sector. "Through partnerships like this, healthcare leaders gain access to strategic guidance and a collaborative approach to new challenges, with opportunities to co-innovate and co-create solutions," he said. He added that the partnership makes Al Koot the first and only flagship medical insurer in Qatar to offer the feature.
Hazel said Al Koot was among the first to join the hospital and that the two organizations share a belief that patients deserve clinical care delivered with transparency and compassion. "Through The View Hospital, we are bringing advanced medical technology and international standards to Qatar, and this collaboration makes that care more accessible to Al Koot's insured members," he said.
The View Hospital's Scale and Ownership
According to akta.pro company records, The View Hospital is a Cedars-Sinai-affiliated private multi-specialty hospital in Doha with 240 single private suites, 10 operating rooms equipped for minimally invasive surgery and intraoperative imaging, and 23 intensive care beds. The hospital was founded in 2022 and sits under Apex Health, a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding.
