Fighters at [UFC](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/0006ntw/ufc) Fight Night 291 earned $186,500 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay, with no athlete reaching the $21,000 tier. [Yahoo](https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ufc-fight-night-291-promotional-120229291.html) reported the total from the October 17, 2026 card at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which streamed on Paramount+.

## How the UFC Compliance Payouts Worked

The program covers outfitting requirements, media obligations and other items under the fighter code of conduct, and it replaces payments made under the previous UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy. Payouts are based on total UFC bouts, plus Zuffa-era WEC fights from January 2007 and later and Zuffa-era Strikeforce bouts from April 2011 and later.

Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $4,000 per appearance, 4-5 bouts get $4,500, 6-10 bouts get $6,000, 11-15 bouts earn $11,000, 16-20 bouts pocket $16,000, and 21 bouts or more get $21,000. Champions earn $42,000 and title challengers get $32,000. Fighters also receive royalty payments of 20-30 percent of UFC merchandise sold bearing their likeness, according to officials.

Venum's multi-year sponsorship with the UFC appropriates the money generated for the program. Venum and ONE Championship announced a two-year global apparel and glove partnership effective October 1, 2026, with Venum becoming the official apparel partner for ONE's marquee numbered events and monthly U.S. shows, Yahoo reported.
