Asia Motors, the official SOUEAST distributor in Bahrain, unveiled the SOUEAST S08 and S08 DM at its Sitra showroom on October 18, 2026, adding a petrol model and a hybrid model to its line-up for families in the kingdom. The launch was reported by EIN Presswire.

What the S08 and S08 DM Offer

Asia Motors, a division of YK Almoayyed & Sons, presented the two models in the presence of YKA chairman Mohammed Farouk Almoayyed, joined by directors, members of the Almoayyed family, senior executives, guests and media. The line-up gives customers a choice between a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine in the S08, with adaptive suspension, and a Super Hybrid powertrain in the S08 DM. The hybrid model offers up to 85 kilometres of pure-electric driving.

Asia Motors general manager Anas Abdulla said: "We are proud to introduce the SOUEAST S08 and S08 DM to Bahrain. Families in the kingdom want space, comfort and technology in a vehicle that fits naturally into everyday life, and the S08 delivers exactly that."

Abdulla said the S08 DM's ability to power equipment beyond the vehicle opens up possibilities from family outings to weekends outdoors, and that the launch strengthens SOUEAST's presence in Bahrain. The S08 has seven flexible seats, a 15.6-inch tilting touchscreen, wireless charging, a surround-sound system and heated and ventilated seating. Six airbags are standard alongside driver-assistance features, and the models come in Azure Grey, Starlit Black, Snow White, Interstellar Blue and Stream Silver.
