FUJIFILM Integrated Inkjet Solutions introduced the FUJIFILM HX1024 Printbar System, a full-color digital inkjet system for on-demand printing on construction products including house wrap, sandpaper, drywall and laminates. The company announced the launch on October 18, 2026, according to Business Wire. The system is available now.

What the HX1024 Printbar System Does

The HX1024 comes in 30-inch and 40-inch print widths for single-pass printing at 400 dpi resolution. Fujifilm said those widths remove the need to reposition smaller printbars for jobs with varying print areas. The system supports print speeds of up to 500 feet per minute, or 152.4 meters per minute.

The full-color system uses LED-curable UV inks, and its LED lamps reduce heat and energy use compared with traditional mercury-based lamps, the company said. It supports industry-standard workflows, with options from simplified TIFF image printing to a fully enabled digital front end that provides expanded file-format support, production workflow management, color management and an integrated RIP.

Liquid-cooled electronics provide greater efficiency than air-cooled systems and reduce the potential for contamination from outside air, according to the company. All system components are readily accessible for maintenance, and a built-in system health check provides error codes to help users identify and troubleshoot issues.

The printbar supports top, side and bottom transport-mounting configurations. Fujifilm said its customizable design lets it work with customers on solutions tailored to their requirements, and its worldwide field-support organization offers on-site and remote training.

"Manufacturers of construction products face daily demands for customization while working within increasingly short delivery windows," said Ankur Mour, vice president and general manager, FUJIFILM Integrated Inkjet Solutions. "With on-demand printing, manufacturers can customize products locally to meet language and regulatory requirements, add serialization for rapid tracking, and tailor graphics to strengthen their brands with customers."

Fujifilm's Printbar Track Record

According to akta.pro company records, FUJIFILM Integrated Inkjet Solutions received an EDP (European Digital Press) Award at Drupa 2024 for its 42k and 46kUV printbar systems. The same records show the unit announced a four-color compact printbar system in 2024 for space-efficient integration, extending the portfolio beyond the 42K into compact, multi-color industrial deployments. Scandbook AB, described as Scandinavia's leading book printer, committed a 36 million SEK upgrade installing four 27-inch FUJIFILM 42K printbars across two plants.

The company is headquartered in Valhalla, USA, and designs and integrates custom-configured single-pass industrial inkjet printbar systems into the production lines of large commercial printers, packaging converters and industrial manufacturers worldwide, according to the same records.
