Alison McQuarrie, less than three months into her role as Everpure Australia and New Zealand partner leader, is targeting managed service providers and data sovereignty, the company said. EIN Presswire reported her plans, which she outlined at Everpure's Accelerate event in Melbourne.
McQuarrie's Plans for Everpure Partners
McQuarrie said Everpure is looking to support its MSP base because it is a "very fast-growing part of our market." She said the vendor is investing in resources, partner programs and areas where it sees opportunity to grow. That opportunity is particularly visible in the storage-as-a-service market, which she said Everpure addresses with its Evergreen//One product.
Data sovereignty is part of that demand, McQuarrie said. "When I'm speaking to customers and partners, data sovereignty — not just where the data sits, but the jurisdiction in which it resides and who has access to it — is top of mind," she said. She said partners in this space are often trusted advisors for customers, with entrenched relationships, established agreements and a trusted foundation of confidence and knowledge around the customer's business.
McQuarrie also said Everpure is working to improve friction points in its partner experience. "There were some challenges in dealing with Everpure, so some of the systems and the tools that we've rolled out in response to that feedback is designed to reduce friction and be able to free that time up to be able to be focused on customer conversations that matter," she said.
She said she took the position, announced by the vendor last month, because she wanted a company that "truly embraced partners and the ecosystem as a force multiplier and a true extension of the team." Her technology career began in distribution in 2002 at Express Online and Express Data, followed by global systems integrator NTT and vendors including Microsoft and Salesforce. McQuarrie said she wants to build on trusted partnerships across GSIs, resale partners, MSPs and distribution partners, and to support them in growing capability and expanding capacity.
Everpure's Recent Partner and Strategy Moves
Everpure appointed McQuarrie as ANZ Head of Partners on September 24, 2026, to drive partner success and business growth across Australia and New Zealand, iTWire reported. The same report said she brought more than 25 years of technology industry experience and would focus on expanding Everpure's Enterprise Data Cloud adoption.
On September 24, 2026, Everpure outlined a data-first AI strategy at its financial analyst meeting, targeting a $21 billion data-intelligence market by 2030, Ticker Report said. On October 15, 2026, Fred Lherault of Everpure discussed the company's "data primacy" strategy, which prioritizes data accessibility and contextualization, and said the approach is essential for the evolving AI landscape, SDxCentral reported.
Everpure Accelerate Event in Melbourne
Sasha Karen attended Everpure Accelerate in Melbourne as a guest of Everpure, EIN Presswire reported. McQuarrie said she is spending time with her team to understand their strengths and how they bring value, ideas and problem solving, and is connecting internal teams to show up as one united front with one strategy to partners and customers.
