Dreame's Ecceluxe Go Portable Espresso Maker Brews Pods and Grounds Without a Kettle

By ·

Key takeaways

  • The Dreame Ecceluxe Go heats its own water using a Li-ion battery and compact heating elements, so it needs no kettle or stove.
  • The brewer ships with adapters for Nespresso Classic, Dolce Gusto, ESE pods and freshly ground beans, and has two brew programs on a touch display.
  • Dreame has no UK release schedule for the Ecceluxe Go, which is set to arrive in the US, Portugal and Spain by the end of the year.

Dreame has introduced the Ecceluxe Go, a portable espresso maker that heats its own water and brews from three pod types or ground coffee, with a release scheduled in the US, Portugal and Spain by the end of the year. TechRadar published a hands-on test of the device on October 18, 2026.

How the Ecceluxe Go Heats and Brews

The Ecceluxe Go carries a small Li-ion battery and compact heating elements that bring a single shot's worth of water to temperature, according to TechRadar. The machine, about the size of a small thermos, comes in a carry case with adapters for Nespresso Classic, Dolce Gusto, ESE and freshly ground beans.

Each adapter twists onto the bottom of the brewer, and a flexible cap lifts off the top to reveal a water reservoir with fill lines. The only control is a touch-sensitive LED display: a three-second press powers the device on, then the user picks one of two programs. P1 brews with cold or ambient-temperature water, and P2 brews with water that has already been heated.

A temperature sensor in the miniature tank shows the reading in centigrade on the screen as it climbs, which takes a couple of minutes. The heated water is then forced through the chosen coffee preparation. TechRadar's tester wrote that the flavor is "milder than usual, but still tasty and well-suited to drinking as a plain shot." A full review is due in a couple of weeks.
