## How the Techcyte and Evident Partnership Works

Techcyte and Evident have worked together for several years, from autonomous imaging with Evident's Pramana whole-slide scanners to case handling and reporting with Techcyte Fusion. The two companies said the collaboration spans many applications and extends digital pathology beyond histology to cytology, hematology, microbiology and parasitology.

"Our work with Evident has always been about making digital pathology simpler for labs, from the scanner to the final report," said Ben Cahoon, CEO of Techcyte. "Aligning our business models takes that step further. Customers can now choose how they acquire the technology and get the scanner, enterprise digital pathology software, and AI from two teams that have a proven track record of innovating together."

Prasanth Perugupalli, Vice President of Digital Pathology at Evident Scientific, said Evident's Pramana scanners and the Techcyte Fusion platform are used together to support a growing range of lab workflows in the US and Europe. He said the modular architecture and quality assured imaging offered by the Pramana scanners made it possible to innovate on business models with Techcyte, including scaling capacity on demand and removing additional hidden costs in operations.

Evident announced the Pramana POD benchtop whole slide imaging scanner at Pathology Visions 2026, designed for small and medium-sized laboratories, according to PR Newswire. The system automates imaging with tissue finder, label detection and volumetric imaging, delivering true 40X at 25 slides per hour.

Techcyte Fusion and Evident's Pramana scanners are for Research Use Only in the United States. Techcyte and Evident will exhibit at Pathology Visions 2026, held October 16 to 18 in San Diego, at booth #410 and booth #106 respectively.
