Key takeaways

  • Master Capital Services Limited commenced F&O clearing and settlement on NSE and BSE effective October 15, 2026.
  • Clients can trade with multiple trading members using a single Custodian Participant Code, consolidating positions and margin calculations.
  • Master Trust reported FY26 consolidated net profit of ₹1,260.9 Mn on total income of ₹5,758.5 Mn.

Master Capital Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Master Trust, began clearing and settlement services for Futures and Options trades on the National Stock Exchange and BSE effective October 15, 2026. ScanX reported the launch, which lets clients trade with multiple trading members through a single Custodian Participant Code.

How the Master Capital Clearing Service Works

The service covers clearing and settlement of trades executed in the F&O segment of both exchanges. Clients deposit funds or pledge securities with Master Capital Service Limited and use one CP Code to trade across several trading members, rather than holding separate collateral for each account.

Positions held across different trading members are aggregated for margin calculation, which the company said can lower the capital locked in by investors. The same code also allows open positions to be squared off or hedged through another trading member if technical issues disrupt trading with an existing member.

Harjeet Singh Arora, Managing Director of Master Trust Limited and Master Capital Services Limited, said the start of these services marks an important milestone for the subsidiary. He said enabling clients to trade with multiple members through a single code aims to provide greater capital efficiency, convenience and continuity in the F&O segment.

Master Trust was established in 1985 and offers equity and commodity trading, derivatives, portfolio management, wealth management, depository services, merchant banking, insurance, research, algorithmic trading and NBFC services. It operates through a network spanning 22 states with 63 branches and over 4.36 lakh registered customers.
