Evolve Green Energies plans to build a 3 GW portfolio of owned renewable energy assets by 2030, the flagship company of Evolve Energy Group said, and is raising structured debt for a pipeline of more than 300 MW of projects under development. The Tribune carried the announcement on October 17, 2026.

Evolve Green's 3 GW Ownership Roadmap

Evolve Green Energies is the flagship company of Evolve Energy Group, a Chennai-based solar platform founded in 2011 that manufactures EVVO inverters and modules, distributes international brands, and delivers turnkey EPC, O&M and OPEX/PPA solar solutions to industrial, commercial and residential customers across India.

The roadmap builds on the group's solar manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction, and operations and maintenance capabilities. By integrating those capabilities with asset ownership, Evolve aims to strengthen control over project execution, optimise costs and build a portfolio of contracted electricity revenues over an expected asset life of 25 years.

Rajesh V. Shah, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Evolve Energy Group, said, "Every megawatt we commission is a 25-year annuity. We manufacture it, build it, own it and run it. That integration is our moat."

Karan Singh, CEO of the Asset Division at Evolve Energy Group, said approximately 130 MW of capacity is expected to become operational during the current financial year, with a portion already supplying power to industrial customers.

The broader 3 GW roadmap is expected to be financed through a combination of project debt, strategic equity and a future public listing. The group's financing relationships include Tata Capital, IREDA, Aseem Infrastructure Finance and YES Bank. Tata Capital's healthcare-focused private equity arm fully exited a local drugmaker, VCCircle reported on September 30, 2026.

Ravinder Pareek, Group Head of Finance at Evolve Energy Group, said, "Our financing approach is to align capital with the development and operating lifecycle of each project."

Evolve Energy Group's Installed Base and Supply Scale

According to akta.pro company records, Evolve Energy Group's cumulative installed base crossed 350+ MW across industrial, commercial and solar park projects in 2025, with 3+ MW of residential rooftop capacity added. The same records list 3+ GW of inverters and modules supplied, and more than 1,500 customers.
