He has served patients throughout Sussex County for more than two decades and currently serves as medical director of Beebe's Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.

Qureshi is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who trained at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York and at Mainline Health in the Philadelphia area. "As Sussex County continues to grow, so does the need for comprehensive cardiovascular care," said David A. Tam, president and CEO of Beebe Healthcare. "Dr. Prasad and Dr. Qureshi have earned the trust of patients for many years, and we are thrilled they are joining Beebe Medical Group to help us meet the growing healthcare needs of today and for years to come."

Cary Marble, Beebe Medical Group chief administrative officer, said, "We want Sussex County patients to know that Dr. Prasad and Dr. Qureshi are staying right here." The Ocean View practice is anticipated to open in November, with a Lewes location planned to follow in January. As members of Beebe Medical Group, both physicians will practice within Epic and MyChart.

Beebe Healthcare's Cardiovascular Institute

Beebe Healthcare is a non-profit, community-based integrated health system founded in 1916 in Lewes, Delaware, according to akta.pro company records. It serves Sussex County residents and visitors through more than 200 physicians across more than 40 specialties, two 24/7 emergency departments, advanced cardiovascular and surgical services, and a network of outpatient and walk-in care locations. Its headcount range is 1,001 to 5,000, and its revenue estimate is $500 million to $1 billion. Mouhanad Freih serves as physician leader of the Cardiovascular Institute.

Earlier Beebe Healthcare Expansions

In August 2026, Beebe Healthcare deployed Canopy Protect wearable safety buttons to staff, starting July 28 in its Lewes Campus Emergency Department, with expansion across campuses by fall, EIN Presswire reported. Beebe Healthcare also launched a three-year partnership with ThriveAP to provide advanced practice clinicians with ongoing education and professional development, and unveiled its full mobile health fleet at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, supported by more than $3.3 million in Congressional Directed Spending grants.
