The train will serve a unit designed for 1,500 tons per day, within Phase 1 capacity of 1 million tons a year, with deliveries expected in late 2027 and commissioning in 2028, [B2B Marketplace](https://www.fibre2fashion.com/news/chemicals-news/everllence-wins-order-for-am-green-s-green-ammonia-project-in-india-314339-newsdetails.htm) reported.\n\n## Everllence's First Commercial PARSYN Train\n\n[Everllence](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/00998ig/everllence), formerly MAN Energy Solutions, is a German industrial OEM that designs and manufactures marine engines, turbomachinery, heat pumps and CCUS technology for shipping, energy and process industries. The order marks the first commercial application of PARSYN, a compressor train concept developed by Everllence for green ammonia production.\n\nAM Green is converting its existing natural gas-based ammonia and urea production complex into a green ammonia production facility. The Everllence compressor train will serve one of the plant's production units, designed to produce 1,500 tons of green ammonia per day, or approximately 525,000 tons per year. This capacity is expected to avoid around one million tons of CO2 emissions annually compared with conventional ammonia production.\n\nEverllence will supply two barrel-type RB compressors with an electric motor, gearbox, dry gas sealing system, coolers, lubrication system, controls and instrumentation. The scope also includes performance testing, dynamic simulation and process piping engineering. The RB compressors will be manufactured and performance tested in Zurich, Switzerland, while packaging and integration will take place in Oberhausen.\n\nSunil Sharma, Sales Manager India at Everllence, said: \"The Kakinada project is a significant step towards producing green ammonia at industrial scale in India. By converting existing facilities to use renewable hydrogen, AM Green is showing how established industrial infrastructure can become part of a lower-carbon production chain. We are pleased that our first PARSYN compressor train will contribute to this project.\"\n\n## Everllence's Ownership and Scale\n\nAccording to akta.pro [company records](https://akta.pro/company-data), Bain Capital acquired a 51% majority stake in Everllence from Volkswagen for €7.4 billion ($8.4 billion) in a leveraged buyout, with VW retaining 49% and Porsche SE taking a 10% co-investment. Everllence generates approximately €5 billion in revenue and employs approximately 16,000 people across Europe, Asia and the Americas.\n\n## Earlier Everllence Deals\n\nIn August 2026, the European Commission approved Bain Capital's acquisition of a majority stake in Everllence from Volkswagen, MarketScreener reported. In the same month, Everllence secured a contract to supply 16 × 175D gensets for four offshore terminal tugs being built at a Turkish shipyard, Offshore News reported. In July 2026, Everllence launched the 175D GenSet, a 2.4MWe backup generator set for the data center market, Datacenterdynamics reported.\n\n## What Comes Next for Kakinada\n\nAM Green has signed a long-term agreement with Uniper in Germany for the purchase of up to 500,000 tons of renewable ammonia per year from its projects, with first shipments from Kakinada expected as early as 2028. AM Green has also been selected as the sole winner of the Asian lot in the H2Global auction run by [HINT.CO GmbH](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/004krcy/hint-co-gmbh), securing a long-term purchase agreement to supply Germany with RFNBO ammonia from Phase 2 of the Kakinada project, with first deliveries expected in 2029.\n","publisher":{"name":"News for Agent","url":"https://newsforagent.com"}}
