Zyaku Adds Worldwide Creator Payouts, Reaching Countries Stripe Does Not Serve
By News Desk ·
Key takeaways
- Zyaku Pro creators can choose instant payouts through a verified Stripe Connect account or scheduled bank and Revolut transfers.
- Creators in countries Stripe does not support can receive scheduled payouts without waiting for a payment provider to arrive.
- Zyaku's standard creator revenue share is 80%, with Enterprise creators receiving 85% of gross sale price.
Zyaku, the creator-owned publishing platform for comics, journalism, podcasts and short video, announced updates on October 15, 2026 that let creators get paid wherever they live, including countries where common payment providers do not operate. The company said creators on its Pro plan and above can now choose between two payout routes. PRLog published the announcement.
How the Two Payout Routes Work
Creators with a verified Stripe Connect account can take instant payouts. Creators in countries Stripe does not support, or whose verification is still in progress, can receive scheduled payouts by bank transfer or Revolut. Zyaku said these creators do not have to wait for a payment provider to arrive in their country before they can earn. A new Payouts screen in each account shows the creator's balance, payout route and payout history.
"Talented creators and journalists live everywhere, but most creator platforms only pay people in a short list of countries," said Rohit Kashyap, Founder and CEO of Zyaku. "If you can publish on Zyaku, you should be able to get paid on Zyaku. Where you live shouldn't decide that."
Zyaku is built for unreliable connectivity. Creators can write offline, and their posts publish automatically when a connection returns. Emergency Broadcast and Disaster Alert, launched after the recent floods in Nepal, let people queue safety check-ins and crisis messages offline, which go out as soon as any connection is available. Journalists can publish anonymously, with their identity stored encrypted and never shown to readers. Every moderation decision goes on a public, append-only ledger with an appeals window.
Zyaku's Creator Revenue Share
According to akta.pro company records, Zyaku's standard creator revenue share is 80%, and Enterprise creators receive 85% of gross sale price with Zyaku retaining 15%. After Stripe processing fees of roughly 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction, effective creator take-home is approximately 77-79%. The same records list 2,400+ creators building, growing and earning on Zyaku at the time of the platform launch, and 28+ languages supported for AI translation and content distribution.
