Key takeaways

  • Webflow's connected app for Google Gemini is free to install and does not currently consume Webflow AI credits.
  • The connector runs through Webflow's MCP server and gives Gemini the same core capabilities already available through Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Slack.
  • Ben Haefele, Webflow's Chief Product Officer, said connecting Gemini to Webflow lets more team members use agents to create pages and manage content.

Webflow announced a connected app for Google Gemini on October 15, 2026, making Webflow available inside the Gemini app. The connector is free to install and does not currently consume Webflow AI credits, according to the announcement carried by GlobeNewswire.

What the Gemini Connector Does

Google selected Webflow for Google Gemini's connector marketplace, which is available only to approved partners. Connected through Webflow's MCP server, Gemini has the same core set of Webflow capabilities already available through Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Slack.

The connected app supports work across the digital experience lifecycle. Teams can ask Gemini about traffic, top pages, engagement and goals with Webflow Analyze, check which Webflow Optimize variation is performing best and whether a test has reached statistical significance, and see how AI systems discover, crawl, describe and cite their brand through AEO Analytics.

Users can also build responsive pages and components from existing styles and brand systems, add scroll, hover, load and click interactions, and create, update and organize CMS collections, including custom and reference fields, in a single request. The connector covers deploying and debugging Webflow Cloud apps and auditing a site for SEO, accessibility, broken links, performance and content quality.

"Teams move faster when people can contribute from the tools they already use," said Ben Haefele, Chief Product Officer at Webflow. "Connecting Gemini to Webflow means more team members can use agents to create pages, manage content, and understand what's resonating with their audience."

Webflow maintains enterprise governance standards through the connector, including existing roles and permissions and AI attribution within activity logs. Access to individual capabilities depends on a customer's existing Webflow plan and permissions.

Webflow's Funding and Product Record

According to akta.pro company records, Webflow has raised $455 million in total across all funding rounds, with Series D the most recent round. The company's Series C valuation was $4 billion in March 2022, and it reported $212.5 million in ARR in 2024.

The same records list six funding rounds on file, including a $120 million Series C in March 2022 led by Y Combinator Continuity Fund and a $140 million Series B in January 2021 led by Accel and Silversmith Capital Partners.
