The [FinancialContent Business Page](https://www.financialcontent.com/article/actus-2026-10-15-netgem-q3-2026-business-update) reported the launch on 15 October 2026. Netgem develops the software platform, supplies the content and operates the service.\n\n## How the Vodafone TV Launch Works\n\nNetgem's [PLEIO](http://www.netgem.com) platform now operates television and entertainment services for more than 30 telecom operators, from regional networks to national operators, under those operators' own brand or on a co-branded basis. The services differ in user experience and content offer but run on a shared cloud software platform. Setting up a new operator takes from a few days to a few weeks depending on that operator's requirements.\n\nPLEIO revenue consists of recurring and non-recurring revenue. Recurring revenue is the group's primary source, made up of a fixed management fee per operator, a monthly subscriber fee per active subscriber, and usage revenue from content such as video on demand or advertising on FAST channels. Cloud gaming is included in the subscription. Non-recurring revenue covers integration, customisation, localisation and catalogue monetisation, plus residual set-top box sales, which have declined since the gradual exit from that activity began in 2021. Vodafone TV involves no hardware delivery.\n\nBT's takeover of [TalkTalk](https://akta.pro/company-profiles/00005z1/talktalk), a long-standing Netgem customer, was announced on 5 October 2026. BT Group said it had acquired TalkTalk Telecommunications Limited and PlatformX Communications Limited from the administrator of TalkTalk Group. TalkTalk entered administration, affecting 2.5 million customers, and Ofcom confirmed services will continue without immediate price or contract changes, according to Prolificnorth. Netgem said TalkTalk's television service remains operational and that it will need to agree with BT the terms of service continuity going forward.\n\n## Netgem's TalkTalk Write-Down and 2026 Outlook\n\nAccording to akta.pro [company records](https://akta.pro/company-data), Netgem reported revenue of 31.7 M€ for fiscal year 2025 and ROC (EBIT) of 5.9 M€ for 2025, with 700K European subscribers by the end of December 2024. The same records show a March 2026 deployment of PLEIO TV across Bouygues Telecom's millions of TV customers, offering a fully managed FAST channels solution, and a June 2026 partnership with Outright Games to bring family franchises to PLEIO.\n\nNetgem anticipates a negative impact of around 650 K€ on its 2026 results, corresponding to a write-down of doubtful receivables. The group expects an improvement in revenue for the 2026 financial year as a whole, driven by the ramp-up of PLEIO, and said growth in subscribers under management and recurring subscription revenue is its priority.\n\n## VodafoneThree Selection and Fibrus Launch\n\nNetgem announced on 3 September 2026 that its PLEIO platform would power VodafoneThree's new UK TV and entertainment service, combining live TV, streaming and cloud gaming, according to the FinancialContent Business Page. Fibrus, a Northern Ireland full-fibre broadband provider, launched Fibrus TV, a Netgem PLEIO-powered service, in mid-September 2026, Telecompaper reported. The add-on costs GBP 7.99 per month and is offered to new and existing customers.\n\n## Netgem's Next Reporting Date\n\nNetgem will publish its 2026 revenue on Thursday 28 January 2027, before market opening. The Competition and Markets Authority is due to report on 19 October 2026.\n\nMathias Hautefort, Chief Executive Officer of the Netgem group, said: \"The highlight of recent months is the launch of Vodafone TV, which takes our model to scale: a leading European operator whose television service is designed, supplied and operated by Netgem. Our commercial and product priorities are now organised around PLEIO and the content factory that feeds it.\"\n","publisher":{"name":"News for Agent","url":"https://newsforagent.com"}}
