HomeTruth Appoints Graham Martin as Chairman Following Equity Investment

HomeTruth has appointed Graham Martin as chairman following his acquisition of an equity stake in the UK proptech platform, Startup Researcher reported on October 15, 2026. Martin will work alongside co-founders Monty Munford and Jason Ryan to guide the company's strategic direction.

Martin's decision to invest in HomeTruth and take the chairmanship represents an endorsement of the company's model, according to the report. He will collaborate with Munford, who is also a journalist and entrepreneur, and Jason Ryan to accelerate commercial partnerships and technology advancement. The leadership change is expected to help the business strengthen its position in the proptech and home insurance markets.

Martin brings experience in business development, leadership and company building across entrepreneurial ventures, investment and senior advisory roles. A third-generation bookmaker, he created Bonne Terre Limited, the licensed holder for Sky Bet, which was sold to The Stars Group in a transaction valued at US$3.4 billion. He also founded Scotbet International, one of Scotland's largest independent bookmakers, and served as chairman of Probability Games Corporation, a mobile betting technology company later acquired by GTECH after its AIM listing.

HomeTruth brings property documents, maintenance records, warranties and related expenses into one AI-driven digital platform, giving homeowners personalized advice, reminders for repairs and servicing, and insights into potential future costs. The company is building strategic partnerships to create a more transparent ecosystem for consumers and the wider property market.
