## Aura Wireless Apogee Platform Wins WBA Award

The award recognizes Aura Apogee as a "Patented Software-Defined Antenna Platform Engineered to Solve Enterprise Wi-Fi Coverage Problem in Large Outdoors and Challenging Indoor Environments." Apogee integrates with Cisco Meraki, HPE/Juniper Networks, Ruckus and other leading access points, and carries no recurring per-node licensing fee from Aura.

Elaine Healy, Co-founder and CEO of Aura Wireless, said: "When we started Aura, we wanted to bring Wi-Fi to big outdoor spaces, and we quickly found out the technology to do it didn't exist. So we built it. Winning Best Wi-Fi Innovation from the Wireless Broadband Alliance is a tremendous honor for our team, who have spent years proving that large-scale Wi-Fi doesn't have to mean more hardware."

The Apogee family includes four products: Apogee 180 for parking lots, loading docks, warehouses and outdoor venues; Apogee 180 MP for industrial facilities and dense warehouses; Apogee 360, configurable in 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees; and Apogee Converge, which supports both Wi-Fi and private LTE (CBRS) in a single array. A single Apogee can extend reliable coverage across up to 20 acres, with up to 90% less infrastructure.

## Aura Wireless Deployment Scale

According to akta.pro [company records](https://akta.pro/company-data), Aura Wireless launched Apogee Converge in 2025 as its first software-defined phased array combining Private LTE (CBRS Band 48) with Wi-Fi 5/6 in a single 4-panel platform. The same records show a Fortune 500 retailer standardized on a 2-3 Apogee antenna architecture across 600+ retail clubs nationwide, with the deployment referenced across 1,000+ locations. Aura Wireless was founded in 2016 and sells exclusively through channel partners to enterprise customers in retail, logistics, agriculture, industrial, education, municipal and entertainment verticals.

## Earlier Aura Wireless Deployments

In June 2026, Aura Wireless deployed its Apogee Converge antenna at Paso Robles Municipal Airport, creating a private 5G testbed with Cal Poly and Heddian, according to EIN Presswire. The single-node system provides full ramp coverage for aerial firefighting and future spaceport infrastructure. In May 2026, Aura Wireless deployed its Apogee antenna solution at Legendz Way Distribution, a 750,000-square-foot warehouse, using 4 access points and 4 antennas instead of 40-45, EIN Presswire reported. The five-year cost dropped from $264,712 to $43,942, saving $220,770.

## What Comes Next for Aura Wireless
