All Star Healthcare Solutions appointed Kelly Rakowski as chief executive officer, effective October 26, 2026, succeeding Ken Bernstein, who is listed as CEO and president in company records. Rakowski joins the Boca Raton-based locum tenens provider from AHSG, where she was chief executive officer, according to PR Newswire.

Rakowski's Appointment at All Star

Rakowski brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare workforce solutions and technology-enabled services, the company said. She previously served as group president and chief operating officer of strategic talent solutions at AMN Healthcare, and earlier held senior roles at Premier, Inc., Accenture and GE Healthcare.

"I am honored to join All Star at such an exciting stage, and to work alongside a team so deeply committed to the partners it serves," Rakowski said. "All Star has built an exceptional foundation, and there's great opportunity ahead."

All Star partnered with Knox Lane, a growth-oriented investment firm, in May 2024 to support its next phase of growth, the company said. Since then, All Star has acquired Cross Country Locums and Integrity Locums. Knox Lane completed its acquisition of Cross Country Healthcare and took it private in July 2026, with Joel Tremblay appointed as the company's new CEO, according to American City Business Journals.

All Star's Expansion Under Knox Lane

According to akta.pro company records, All Star opened a new headquarters at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus in January 2026, more than doubling its Florida footprint. The same records show the company acquired Integrity Locums, a temporary healthcare staffing firm, in May 2025. All Star was founded in 2003 as a permanent medical staffing agency and now serves a network of more than 450,000 providers and facilities across 85 or more specialties.

Cross Country and Integrity Acquisitions

All Star acquired Cross Country Healthcare's locum tenens division for $437 million, as part of a broader transaction in which Knox Lane completed its acquisition of Cross Country Healthcare and took it private, Staffing Industry Analysts reported in July 2026. All Star announced the acquisition of the locums division of Cross Country Healthcare, with the transaction completed alongside Knox Lane's acquisition of Cross Country Healthcare, Aijourn reported in July 2026.

Rakowski's Start Date

Rakowski's appointment takes effect October 26, 2026, the company said.
